cheap 'n' easy vegan cooking

BeaN PaTe

1 tin of cooked chick peas, butter beans or red kidney beans
2 cloves garlic (crushed or grated)
juice of half a lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp tomato puree or tomato sauce
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chives (optional)
salt and pepper to own taste

1.) Either put everything in a blender and whiz for a minute (you might need to add a little water or soya milk if it's a bit sticky) or mash beans in a bowl then stir everything else in. Err, that's it. Easy or what?
